Abstract
Despite the age of study, the existence and widespread use of methods of specific prevention and treatment, hepatitis B remains an urgent medical problem. This problem is caused by severe forms and complications of the disease. The frequency of mutations in the genome of the etiological agent. The purpose of this work is to identify the causes of this relevance by analyzing literary sources.
